Why Do You Need My Federal Tax Transcripts?

This is Craig the Borrower. Craig is buying a home and using a Loan Officer at A and N Mortgage. One of the items that Craig needs to provide his Loan Officer is Federal Tax Transcripts for the current year, and the previous two. During the mortgage process, Fannie Mae requires us to confirm that your tax returns have been filed with the IRS.\r\n\r\nTo obtain the transcripts that the Loan Officer needs, Craig will have to do one of the following:\r\n

    \r\n

  • Craig can go to the IRS Website, and follow the instructions to obtain the transcripts…
  • \r\n

  • Or Craig can call, and once the recording starts, immediately begin pressing zero, to find a representative.
  • \r\n

  • Once you’ve reached a rep, ask for the transcripts for the desired years.
  • \r\n

  • Have the representative fax the transcripts to the most convenient fax number, or you can give them the Loan Officer’s fax number, and the transcripts are usually sent within the half hour.
  • \r\n

\r\nGetting required documents like these, just gets you one step closer to closing the home of your dreams.\r\n\r\nhttps://youtu.be/qr3xqUJ2UeM?list=PLwqTN09QQ8-RKuH82jJF3Tj2IeB5wPqy4\r\n\r\nAnimation/Editing: Matt Nikkila\r\nMusic by: David Kornfeld\r\nTheme Song Lyrics by: Ricky Glore\r\nVocals by: Ali Delianides, David Kornfeld and Ricky Glore
