Just to let all of you Mortgage Fans know, the Wednesday blog is taking a forced vacation while the software we use to send it out gets updated. Please don’t cry or get sad, I’ll still be here thinking about you guys. We are a team and I would never leave you – – …  Wait, what’s that? You want some facts to help you in case you ever get on a game show? C’mon, I’m trying to give a sincere speech here about how much you mean to me…… Oh screw it – here you go:

Worthless Fact # 1: The medical term for ice cream headaches is sphenopalatime ganglioneuralgia.

Worthless Fact # 2: Most dogs reach peak cuteness between six and eight weeks old. (*side note: I am 47 years past my peak cuteness.)

Worthless Fact # 3: The word ‘PEZ’ comes from the German word for peppermint – PfeffErminZ. (*side note: When I was a kid I would only eat this candy when I was angry. I told my parents I would pretend the PEZ dispenser was a teacher I didn’t like and I’d be snapping their head back to get candy. And that, Mortgage Fans, was when my parents enrolled me into therapy. And yes, here are some fun PEZ facts for you.

Worthless Fact # 4: The first pair of Nike running shoes was made in a waffle iron.

Worthless Fact # 5: There are approximately 200 feral cats roaming the grounds of Disneyland, where they help control the park’s rodent population. The park’s staff provides them with both extra food and medical care.

Enjoy this beautiful autumn weather, and I’ll be back in your in-boxes in a couple of weeks.
