This week we’ve got housing data and the Fed’s favored measure of inflation. On the housing front the FHFA House Price Index will give us a reading on appreciation, while Pending Home Sales will give us a reading on signed contracts of existing homes.
Interest rates took a slight bump up yesterday but that’s the way it goes – up and down, up and down… Today you’ll find a 30yr fixed anywhere from 3.625% to 3.99% with adjustable rate mortgages a sliver lower. As usual rates will vary based on your credit score, type of home, equity in the home, or if the home is just really strange .
