Jumping Quote of the Day: “Jump and you will find out how to unfold your wings as you fall.” – Ray Bradbury
This Day in Economic History: On this day in 1837 Congress took action to stabilize the nation’s economy during the panic of 1837. They failed, and the Great Depression lasted another seven years. (*Interesting to note that my Great Depression also happened on this day in ’88 when my girlfriend dumped me for my Spanish tutor, a class I eventually failed).
I’m writing this blog from beautiful Puerto Vallarta which means I’m not going to bore you with what’s happening in the market, interest rates, etc. In a nutshell, rates are still beautiful (low to mid-3s, with ARM rates about a half a point lower). You should call me or email me if thinking about buying a new home or refinancing your current home. Also, in a nutshell…
Don’t forget to remember: Any purchase or refinance loan over $240k I will waive ALL lender fees – a $1,050 savings! Grab yourself a cup of instant karma and pass this info onto any friends, family, coworkers, or game show cheaters that can use this break.
Jumping Quote of the Day 2: “Jumping on a trampoline naked is an awesome way to see the past, present, and future of your body.” – @disastrous007
Timeout for Trivia: Congrats to those who guessed Jessie Eisenberg last week. Want to be entered into a drawing to win a Bubble Wrap Calendar? Simply email me the answer to this week’s Who Am I? question. Good luck: “It was on this date in 1997 we had to cancel our show in Madrid after 7,000 fans arrived for the 5,000 capacity show. (it’s estimated 7000 girls and only 5 boys at that concert!) The first name in our group sounds like a shortcut one might take, but it actually comes from an outdoor flea market in Orlando which was also a popular teen hangout. Are we millennials? You might think that from our highest-grossing album title.”
