I just read that Double Stuf Oreos are only 1.86 times as ‘stuffed’ as Classic Oreos. Sorry to start the blog off on a bad note but misery loves company. Okay, here we go with some good stuff….

Possibility Quote of the Day: “Until you’re ready to look foolish, you’ll never have the possibility of being great.” – Cher

This Day in Economic History: It was on this day back in 1863 that Sir Henry Royce was born. He grew up to be a successful engineer and in 1904 teamed up with a motor dealer named C.S. Rolls where they would go on to create the first known automobile aptly called the Rolls-Royce. (*Also, this is kind of stupid but in 7th grade I wrote a paper for my English class and it was about how cool it would be if Tootsie Rolls merged with Rolls Royce and renamed it Tootsie Rolls Royce).

Wuss’up This Week: Every day reports about our economy are released into the wild and it’s these reports that can sway interest rates in either direction. Today we’ve got nothing worth talking about, but Thursday we’ll see Weekly Jobless Claims and Pending Home Sales, and on Friday New Home Sales. If these numbers come out good for the economy you can expect rates to go up, and vice-versa if the numbers disappoint.

Interest rates took a tiny dip last week and as of today we find a 30-year jumbo rate (that’s for any loan over $484k) in the low-4s with conforming loan (under $484k) a touch higher. Adjustable rate mortgages are anywhere from .125%- .375% lower). As usual rates will vary based on type of home, equity in the home, your credit score, and if you know spring cleaning hacks.

Don’t Forget to Remember: Any purchase or refinance loan between now and July 4th I will waive the appraisal fee – a $450 value! Grab yourself a cup of instant karma and pass my info along to any friends, family coworkers, or rich jerks that can use this gift!

Possibility Quote of the Day 2: “The possibility that I hit REPLY ALL haunts every email I’ve ever sent.” – @juskewitch

Timeout for Trivia: Congrats to those who guessed John Cusack last week. Want to be entered to win a Library Card Coffee Mug? Just email me the answer to this week’s Who Am I? question. Good luck: “Hey Movie Fans, it’s my birthday today and while I may not have model looks I am a cutie (… say that word slow). My big acting break came when I played an Elvis impersonator in a Golden Girls episode. Yep, that about sums up my acting career so I turned to writing and directing. I did put myself in my 1992 movie that was a hit, and the title could literally be renamed ‘A Large Natural or Artificial Lake Filled With Domesticated Carnivorous ammals’. You want another literal title? How about my 1994 hit we could call ‘The True Story of Orange Juice’.”
