Before transitioning to the mortgage sector, Pete built a distinguished career in institutional commercial real estate. He previously served as the Managing Director of Acquisitions at CEDARst Development, VP of Development at Origin Investments, and Director of Acquisitions and Asset Management at Colony Capital. This deep background in residential housing provides him with a sophisticated understanding of the asset class from the ground up.
Pete’s hands-on experience is bolstered by a Master’s Degree in Real Estate Law from John Marshall and an MBA in Real Estate Finance from DePaul University, making him a highly skilled advocate for his clients. A lifelong Chicagoan, he leverages his deep local roots to help neighbors and investors navigate the unique nuances of the Chicagoland market.
Outside of the office, Pete enjoys spending time with his wife, son, and their two dogs, Oakley and Pinot (affectionately known as “The Loan Processing Team”). He is a lifelong ice hockey fan and can often be found on the golf course whenever time allows.
